Marina da Gloria

Marina da Glória is the best public marina in Rio. It has:

• two floating piers mostly occupied by sail boats.

• two snack bars

• one restaurant

• many boat shopping stores

• safety and free car parking

How to get there:

Marina da Gloria is near by Rio's business down town and besides airport Santos Dumond (for domestic flyghts only).

Going to down town, you will probably pass by Meridien Hotel, at the end of Copacabana, then take the tunnel and follow a big avenue, having the bay of Rio on your right hand side.

When you will pass by Gloria Hotel (in your left hand side) you will be passing by Marina da Gloria's entrance (in your right hand side). You don't need to go to Hotel Gloria, just turn right (at the first entrance) and you will be at Marina da Gloria parking.

Park (for free), go through the main gate and going downwords (20m from the gate) you will find a floting pier called "Cais Nobre". This pier is just for boardind/arrivals.
